Samsung Sanghoe is the root from which global corporate giant Samsung Group has sprouted.

Remember the merchants and their donkey-ridden carts awaiting and scurrying to get their load of products from Samsung Sanghoe? The bustling sound of workers shouting orders and customers haggling for better price represented the diligence and industry of our foregone generations and the vim of a nation and company, climbing the ladder of industrialization into global commercial giants.

The blossoming colors of flowers and the flock of variegated birds embroidered in mother of pearl and gold on the foreground of the image of Samsung Sanghoe depict the wish that Samsung Group continues to be the bountiful and everlasting spring of Korea, burgeoning from once humble, albeit lively, seed planted in small parcel of land in Seoul all that time ago.

예전 주식회사 삼성상회 앞에는 물건을 싣기 위해 기다리고 있는 당나귀도 보이고

리어카와 짐을 나를 일꾼 장사를 하기 위해 삼성상회를 들렸을 것 같은 아주머니 등으로

부지런하고 정겨운 전 세대들의 생활 모습이 활기차 보인다.

그 위에 화려하게 꽃이피 고 전 세계의 온갖 새들이 날아드는 글로벌 된 지금의 삼성이

언제나 봄이길 바라는 마음에서 봄꽃과 여러 종류의 새를

자개를 조각하고 새 모양에 순금박을 입히는 등 화려하게 표현 하려 하였다.
